Rotary South East Nassau Independence Quiz 3rd July 2013

On Wednesday 3^rd July 2013, in celebration of the upcoming 40^th Anniversary of Bahamian Independence, the Literacy and Scholarship Committee of the Rotary Club of Southeast Nassau was pleased to put on an Independence Quiz for those visitors and guests who attended the meeting on that day.

          The Independence Quiz consisted of 12 questions from a range of categories including History/Politics, Sports, General Knowledge, and questions specifically relating to Independence Day events and national identity.

          The Quiz was a great success and was well received by all those who attended.  There was a three way tie for first place with three tables answering a total of 10 out of the 12 questions correctly.  Those tables were the Round Table at which Mr. Tracy Knowles sat, the table at which Mr. Richard Adderley sat and the table at which Mr. Roger Kelty.

          The prizes for the winning tables are ribbons provided by the Club and they shall be distributed at the meeting on Wednesday 17^th July 2013.
