October 14th - Guest Speaker

Edward  Fields - is the son of a former police Superintendent and Hotel Cashier. He was born in 1958 at the Princess Margaret Hospital and lived the first half of his life on the Fort (Fincastle) Hill off of East Street and in Boyd Subdivision, Chippingham up until he graduated from Graduate School in 1985. He has had the unique experience of having an array of careers including journalism, banking, insurance, public relations, property management, golf course management and governmental affairs.

Ed is currently employed as Senior Vice-President of Public Affairs and Retail Services at Kerzner International. He also currently is the talk show host for the show EdFileds Live on Kiss 96FM. He feels that his greatest accomplishment to date is the role he plays with respect to Kerzner’s Community Service programme. “There is no greater satisfaction that one can have than giving back. Mr. Fields also serves on the board of various organizations such as Commonwealth Brewery, Nassau Downtown Partnership, the Brickell Management Group and the Bahamas National Festival Commission. Ed is married to Michele and they have one daughter Candace.
