On Thursday October 17th , the Rotary Club of South East Nassau (RCSEN) actively participated in the University of The Bahamas C.O.N.N.E.C.T Job Fair, connecting with students to share opportunities for career development, networking, and community service. This engagement is part of the club’s ongoing commitment to supporting youth and young professionals in The Bahamas.
At the fair, RCSEN members interacted with attendees, providing insights into Rotary's core values, including leadership, service, and ethical business practices. Participants learned about Rotary’s local and global initiatives, including youth leadership programs, mentorship opportunities, and various service projects that benefit the wider community.
The club also introduced students to Rotary's personal and professional growth avenues, such as the Rotaract and Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), which emphasize skills development, leadership, and community engagement.
RCSEN’s involvement in the University of The Bahamas Job Fair underscores its dedication to fostering the next generation of leaders while enhancing the club’s impact within the community. By offering students a gateway into Rotary, the club aims to inspire them to serve, lead, and contribute to positive change both locally and internationally.
