Last week we got to hear from Michael Telarin on bridging the divide between Haitians & Bahamians and the role of the United Haitian and Bahamas Association (UHAB). He spoke of the language barrier between the two groups and some of the services the group offers such as translation services, care packages, and stepping in during time of crisis.
There immediate needs are partnership and funding.
The raffle was a $50 Rubis gas voucher which was won by Director Azaleta.
Looking forward to seeing you out today for lunch, fellowship, and good conversation.
